Think of this: if you buy two down pillows for your bedroom, how much better are you going to sleep. You know the quality is super high and a feather down pillow is the most comfortable pillow on earth. Soft, firm, and great temperature are three of the top qualities you are going to get. These are going to help you sleep better through the night and feel better the next day. This in turn leads to more productivity, lessening of health concerns, and etc.

If intangible better peacefulness and ideal productivity doesn’t wake you up, think about the numbers.  The Ralph Lauren, 300 count classic down pillow from Macy’s costs about half of the one I mentioned before at $110.  Say you pay $10 for a regular, lumpy cheap pillow.  Isn’t $100 worth 2 or 3 years of comfort.  That’s about 1000 days and it comes to a dime a night for much better comfort and well basically luxury as if you were sleeping in a 5 star hotel luxury suite.

Higher quality down pillows are both firm and soft.  Soft in the sense it feels like you’re head is sleeping on clouds, but firm in the sense you won’t lay your head down and virtually hit the mattress like a ton of bricks.  So you get both cushioning and support and then once you get up, the pillow puffs back up to its original shape.

If you’re a bargain hunter or even a penny pincher always looking for the best sales, that’s great.  Walmart.com carries down feather pillows as well as a number of other discount retailers and their prices are much less than the regular prices at Macy’s.  Think of buying soft down filled pillows as an investment and you won’t be sorry.  As you know, I’ve researched the subject quite a bit and there are frequently sales and specials online if you keep your eyes peeled.
